Through this series of Pancasila Webinars, according to the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, Alfian Siagian, he had high hopes that there would be a reaffirmation of Pancasila as the basis of the nation’s state and ideology in this millennial era. Because, since Indonesia gained its independence, there’s always been groups wanted to replace Pancasila with another ideology. There are always groups that try to keep the Indonesian people away from Pancasila as the nation’s ideology and exchange it for other ideologies or ideologies.
“This is dangerous for the future of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI),” Alfian Siagian said. Therefore, he added, web seminars on Pancasila like this are critical. With expectation that the younger generation knows, understands, and loves Pancasila as an ideology of the nation and is not tempted by other ideologies.

He explained, during the Covid-19 pandemic, a seminar on Pancasila would be held online. Each seminar participant will be limited to around 100 participants but still involves various elements of society from multiple regions. For example, participants from Jakarta, West Java, East Java, Aceh, Lampung, and even Papua.
