In Padangkita.com notes, Sykeh Yasin studied at Darul Ulum for about three years. At the beginning of 1356 H/1938 AD, Sheikh Yasin was trusted to be a teacher at his alma mater. Three years later, Sheikh Yasin was awarded for being the director of the madrasa.
In addition to Madrasa Darul Ulum, he also teaches at the Grand Mosque, to be precise, between Bab Ibrahim and Bab Al-Wada’. The recommendation for teaching at the Haram Mosque was officially obtained on 10 Late Friday 1369 H/29 March 1950 from the Council of Ulama of the Haram Mosque. His halaqah received a warm welcome, especially from the people of Southeast Asia and Indonesia. In addition, every month of Ramadan, Sheikh Yasih also completes and validates one book from the Pole A-Sittah. This thing lasted for 15 years. He also teaches at home and in the school office.
For this achievement, Sheikh Yasin was named al-Musnid ad-Dunya (the most prominent Muslim in the World). The title was given because Sheikh Yasin is seen as the person who primarily owns the sanad in Mecca, Middle East, and in the World. Not only because of the large number of teachers who examined 700 people, but also seen more expertise in the field involved.
According to the records of one of his students, namely Sаіkh Mahmud Sа’іd Mamduh, Shaykh Yаѕіn often accepts requests for fatwas. Thus, Sheikh Yasin is recognized as an expert in the science of sanad and an expert in other arcane sciences. In fact, requests for fatwa came from around Mecca and from outside of Indonesia.
